Washington Campus One-Week Residency
At D’Amore-McKim we strive to provide experiential learning opportunities to all of our students and the Washington Campus residency is a great example of this. We are one of only 17 graduate business schools that provide its MBA students with the opportunity to participate in this unique 3-credit course in Washington D.C.
This week-long MBA residency showcases the intersection of government with business. You will have the opportunity to meet with members of Congress, current and former Executive Branch officials, senior civil servants, business executives, lobbyists, representatives of the media, and special interest groups to learn first-hand how public policy affects various aspects of individual companies, specific industries, as well as the U.S. and global economies.
Along with meeting Washington insiders, the program also includes site visits to relevant Federal buildings and agencies, such as Capitol Hill, the Federal Reserve, the Department of Treasury, and the National Press Club. When Congress is in session, the program also provides access to Congressional hearings so that you have the opportunity to see the U.S. government in action. The program provides numerous networking opportunities while also giving students a chance to see what it is like to live and work in Washington D.C.
