Raj Echambadi will serve as the inaugural Dunton Family Dean of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business starting August 14, 2017, Northeastern University announced today.

“It is an amazing honor to have the opportunity to lead the D’Amore-McKim School of Business,” Echambadi told News@Northeastern. “It is going to be a fun and exciting ride to put DMSB in the pantheon of elite business schools.”

Echambadi comes to Northeastern from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he established himself as a leader in business education innovation and a savvy broker of strategic partnerships. The Dunton Family Deanship is a gift from Gary Dunton, DMSB’78, and his wife Lea Anne. It is the first endowed deanship at Northeastern University.
