Poets & Quants recognizes D'Amore-McKim for top job placement

Poets&Quants recently placed the D’Amore-McKim School of Business undergraduate program as first for job placement, with 99 percent of students accepting a job within three months of graduation. D’Amore-McKim’s high placement on the list can be attributed to Northeastern’s cooperative education program (co-op). Designed with academics and real-world experience in mind, co-op enables students to gain insight into their future career with exposure to new opportunities and a large network of contacts.

Among the top 50 schools, more than 10 said their 2016 graduates had a 95% chance or greater to be selected for a job within the three-month span. Exactly 50 percent of the top-ranked schools have employment rates of 90 percent or higher.

The survey established that schools that enable students to gain exposure to work opportunities through internships and co-ops, are more likely to see those same students graduate with full-time employment offers.

D’Amore-McKim placed 19th overall in Poets&Quants’ first ranking of U.S. undergraduate business programs based on student satisfaction, academic experience and employment outcomes, and other factors.

With more than 600 co-op employers nationwide, as well as numerous opportunities to experience co-op abroad, students have the opportunity immerse themselves in meaningful, global experiences at D’Amore-McKim.
