Research & Teaching Interests

Anna Lamin has been a Professor in the International Business & Strategy Group since 2007. She teaches both strategic management and international business courses to undergraduates as well as MBAs. She is primarily known for her research on business groups, location choice and clusters, as well as organizational legitimacy. Much of her work focuses on firms in emerging markets, specifically India. Her work has been published in top strategic management and international business journals including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Research Policy, and Journal of International Business Studies.

Anna Lamin is a senior editor at Asia-Pacific Journal of Management. She also serves on the editorial review boards for leading international business journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal, and Journal of World Business. In addition, she regularly reviews for top journals in strategic management such as Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science. She is also the Treasurer for Academy of International Business, Northeast Chapter and serves on its board.
