Workforce Strategy, Analytics and Talent Leadership

The right talent performing in the right roles is key to a company's bottom line. Yet, how to identify true strategic positions, consistently place top talent in those positions, and then create maximum competitive advantage through appropriate development is known to only a few companies today. Providing senior HR and Talent leaders, as well as their line business partners, with the knowledge and tools to meet the talent challenge is the core premise of Northeastern's capabilities in Workforce Strategy, Analytics and Talent Leadership.

Our faculty leader in this area is Mark Huselid, Ph.D. Mark is the Distinguished Professor of Workforce Analytics and Director of the Center for Workforce Analytics at D’Amore-McKim. His research focuses on the linkages between workforce analytics, corporate strategy, and firm performance. He is the author of three best-selling books in the field, has published numerous articles and books on these topics, and is one of the most-cited scholars in the field of management and workforce analytics.

Today, responsibility for effective talent planning and management is shared between HR professionals and line business leaders. Even if your firm has a working ‘talent management process’, our expert faculty can design programs or modules using the latest research-based approaches to measurably improve the ROI of your strategic talent.
