Profile

Q: What do you do in your current job/what are your responsibilities?

A: In my current position I conduct market research in regard to customer service and support. I also manage a Research Advisory Council of 30+ service executives which meets quarterly to network and exchange best practices.

Q: What skills did you build in the MBA program that you are applying at your current job?

A: One skill I really built on throughout the program was networking, networking, networking! The ability to converse with executives from different backgrounds and roles is key to my job.

Q: Why did you choose the D'Amore-McKim MBA?

A: I was looking to change industries, and the D'Amore-McKim MBA had a great Supply Chain Management emphasis. Also, the corporate residency allowed me to gain a year of management experience in a new industry, which greatly aided my career search post-graduation.

Q: What was the best thing about your corporate residency?

A: One of the best things about my corporate residency at ModusLink was learning both the client side and the operations side of an after-market services organization.

Q: What was the biggest take-away from earning your MBA at Northeastern?

A: The biggest takeaway was working with collaborative teams that have different goals and motivations. Getting the most of each team member to produce a quality product is key. I am much better at team building and working with colleagues across the organization.
