About the University Cattolicá del Sacro Cuore
The school's partner school in Italy is the Facoltà di Economia on the Piacenza campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC). The university in Piacenza was opened in 1957 as a satellite campus of the prestigious Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan which was founded in 1921. UCSC Piacenza has an enrollment of about 3,100 students and provides an intimate feel of a small college while attending a larger university. Piacenza is a city of about 100,000 inhabitants located southeast of Milan. On the border between Emilia Romagna and Lombardia, the town and surrounding area is a rich cultural center for art and architecture.
