About Reutlingen University

The School's partner school in Germany is the European School of Business (ESB) at Reutlingen University. Reutlingen University was founded in 1855 as the Fachhochschule fuer Technik und Wirtschaft and currently has a student population of about 3,000. ESB was founded in 1979 and since, has achieved an excellent reputation for its top quality business and technical programs.

While overseas, students will take the entire third year curriciulum at ESB including courses in: International Marketing, Foreign Trade, International Economics, International Studies, International Finance, and Human Resource Management. All class instruction is in German.

The ESB campus is located in the southwest of Reutlingen and is about 10 minutes by bus or bike from the town center. The town of Reutlingen, which has about 108,000 inhabitants, dates back to the 5th and 6th centuries. Remains of the ancient city can still be seen in the town center today. Reutlingen is located in southern Germany at the foot of the Swabian Jura, a charming range of medium-sized hills of volcanic origin, close to Tubingen and Stuttgart.
