Masters in Finance or Finance MBA?

A Finance MBA will offer you general management education with a concentration in finance among other courses such as marketing, strategy, or supply chain management. You will touch the area of corporate finance but you won't become an expert. Alternatively, a Masters in Finance deepens your mastery of the financial side of business markets but does not provide you with general management knowledge.

The MS in Finance provides rigorous training in finance, helping you to develop your analytical and financial management skills. The curriculum is taught by faculty who are recognized as expert researchers by leading industry journals.

The Full-Time MS in Finance is a 12-month program that has a strong emphasis on quantitative methods and finance theory. Classes begin in September. Students complete a lock-step curriculum together as a cohort, comprised of approximately 40 students, primarily international.

The Part-Time MS in Finance program provides flexibility for working professionals seeking to brush up on their finance skills and advance in their current roles. You can choose electives that match your interest in either corporate finance or investments. You can complete the Part-Time MSF program in 21 months (accelerated 10-, 12-, and 16-month tracks are also available). Classes begin in September and take place during the evening hours to accommodate work schedules.
