Our MS in Finance program will not only strengthen your network; it will help you develop the skills needed to propel you to the next level.
During the first half of your graduate program the Graduate Career Center will provide access to valuable online career resources to improve your resume, refine your interview techniques, and hone career-accelerating skills.
Full-time students will also have the opportunity to take a Career Management Course which introduces students to a US job search including job search strategy, elevator pitches, resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles and interviewing. The course includes employer and alumni outside speakers and networking opportunities. It also includes hands-on sessions in class.
Once you have completed the first half of your program, you will have developed your business skills and knowledge due to your participation in our MS in Finance program. Recognizing your professional growth, the full services of the Graduate Career Center will become available to you at this time. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with a Career Advisor to guide you through your personalized career management plan. You will define your career goals, learn how to leverage your network, and design and implement a job search strategy that will guide you to the next step in your career.
This timing is important as employers typically look for candidates who have completed or are very close to completing their master’s degree.
