"The analytic, technical skills, and the corporate connections that the school has will give students the experience and maturity to pursue their careers."
Q:What skills are you building at D’Amore-McKim that you will use in your future career?
A:I am building data analysis skills, along with the technologies used in such analysis, Tableau, R, Python, and SPSS; marketing research; and industry and company analysis.
Q:Why did you choose D'Amore-McKim?
A:I have worked in financial services for 20 years and have worked with students from Northeastern’s undergraduate co-op program on occasion. I have found the students to be intelligent, hardworking, exceptionally enthusiastic, and well represented. Colleagues at companies I have worked for, including State Street Corporation and Santander, have a favorable view of the business school. Therefore, I decided this would be the school for me to pursue this degree.
Q:What would you say to a prospective student considering D’Amore-McKim for their business degree?
A:I would say the analytic, technical skills, and the corporate connections that the school has will give students the experience and maturity to pursue their careers.
Q:Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A:I see myself in an executive or senior consultant role in either data management or data implementation. In other words, I see myself working as a supplier of data to colleagues who need to use data to be successful in their jobs.
