Optional Practical Training (OPT)

APPLY YOUR CLASSROOM KNOWLEDGE Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a type of employment authorization that allows F-1 visa students that study on-campus to gain practical experience directly related to their major field of study through 12 months of U.S. work experience. If you successfully complete the equivalent of one full academic year and earn a Graduate Certificate in Technological Entreprenership, you may be eligible to apply. This is an exciting opportunity to put your education into practice in the American business world.
