How to Apply
The Admissions Committee will review your application when you have submitted the following materials.

- U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
- Work experience
- Demonstrated English-language proficiency for non-native speakers.
You may begin your Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management in September, January, or May. Complete the online application form by the appropriate deadline. Submit your application as soon as you have completed your part of it, whether or not your recommender has completed his or her evaluation. The online application system will automatically match recommendations submitted on your behalf with your application.
Your non-refundable $50 application fee, to be paid electronically by credit card, is due when you submit your application. A $100 application fee is required if applying to the online program.
Please include your name and essay question on each page of your personal statement. It should be presented in 12-point size font, double-spaced. Discuss both your short-term and long-term professional goals. Describe what challenges you may face as well as how your previous experiences will help contribute to your future success. Your answer should highlight why you have decided to pursue your graduate certificate at this point in your career and how you feel this professional credential will help you achieve success. Submit a professional résumé that lists your work history, beginning with your most recent experience. Please include awards or other recognition you may have received for work, community service, or other accomplishments. Upload your résumé as a PDF or Word document in your online application.
One Letter of Professional Recommendation
Register your recommender in your online application so that he or she may submit his or her evaluation online. We suggest that you obtain a recommendation from an individual (such as a current or recent manager) who has directly supervised your work and can assess your potential to succeed in a rigorous certificate program.
D’Amore-McKim School of Business accepts the GMAC Common Recommendation Form in lieu of our online recommendation. Please enter your recommender information into the online application and advise them to upload a PDF of the GMAC Common Recommendation Form without filling out our online questionnaire.
Upload scanned copies of your academic transcripts from each degree-granting postsecondary institution (undergraduate and graduate) attended. Please do not submit academic records from your secondary school or high school.
We follow an online application review process so please do not send your paper transcriptions or certified evaluations to our office unless you receive a request from us to do so. The Admissions Committee will review your scanned transcriptions, which are considered unofficial at this stage of the application process.
Submitting Official Transcripts and Test Results
If admitted, you will be required to submit official paper transcripts (directly from each academic institution attended)—or, if applicable, certified evaluations for institutions from outside the United States from WES or CED—before being eligible to enroll. Northeastern University reserves the right to revoke any offer of admission if there is any discrepancy between the unofficial (including scanned transcripts) and official transcripts submitted.
If you were a transfer, study-abroad, or exchange student, you must include scanned copies of transcripts from all institutions attended, even if some of your courses appear on multiple transcripts. If you are a current student, please include a list of your current classes even if you have not received your final grades.
Please read and sign the Applicant’s Agreement attesting to the authenticity and truthfulness of your work before submitting your online application.
Copy of US Permanent Residency Card (if applicable)
If you are a permanent resident of the United States, you must submit a copy of the front and back of your permanent residency (Green) card. Upload a scanned copy into the Supplemental Section of your online application.
The program starts in September. Our application dates are as follows. Please note: March 15 is the final application date for international applicants and all candidates who wish to be considered for scholarships. We will review all applications received after the final deadline on a rolling basis.

|You will receive an admissions decision no more than 10 business days after you submit your application.
- Each applicant may be considered for only one graduate business degree program per academic year.
- All applications (including supporting documents) must be submitted online.
- Each applicant is responsible for completing his/her own application and ensuring that the information and material submitted is truthful. Northeastern reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission made to any applicant whose work or any part of the application is found to be false or inauthentic.
- Each submitted application (along with supporting materials) becomes the property of Northeastern University and is nonreturnable.
- Because of the volume of applications, we are not able to provide feedback to candidates who are not offered admission.
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to assume the costs of verifying and/or authenticating any documents associated with the application.
- Each application is kept on file for one year after it is submitted. In working with re-applicants, the Admissions Committee may, at its discretion, use some materials from an application submitted up to one year earlier. After one year, a re-applicant must submit a new application and supporting documents.
- English proficiency, both written and verbal, is necessary for success in D'Amore-McKim classrooms. If you are not a native English speaker, we require a standardized test of English language proficiency. Exceptions are granted to those who completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited institution where English is the language of instruction, as well as to those who have worked full-time in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or other native English-speaking environment.
- If you have not completed an English language proficiency tests, feel that your scores are not an accurate representation of your abilities, or simply prefer an interview, you may request an intake interview in lieu of providing test scores. Interviews are typically 30 minutes long, may be completed remotely or in-person, and are arranged at the time of application review.
