"The professor would guide us and open up new ways of thinking."

Q: What’s your most interesting memory from your time at Northeastern?

A: I really enjoyed the classroom atmosphere because there were so many students from all over the world and I was able to learn how to best work with people from many different cultures. I had to work hard in my classes and before each class, I would to prepare what I wanted to discuss so that I would be ready to participate. We would discuss various topics and systemically analyze each other’s theories. There were times when we couldn’t solve a problem and the professor would guide us and open up new ways of thinking.

Q: What is your current profession and what led you there?

A: I currently work as a Sales and Digital Marketing Executive at Rakbankerd Co., Ltd. The skills, knowledge, and confidence that I gained from my time at D’Amore-McKim are the key contributions that led me here.

Q: How did D’Amore-McKim prepare you for this career in the global business world?

A: D’Amore-McKim not only educated me on academic theories but also presented me with opportunities to learn from real market situations by using innovation projects within existing industries.

Q: What would you say to a prospective student considering D’Amore-McKim for their business degree?

A:D’Amore-McKim has great professors, a great learning environment, and supporting staff. This program will challenge you to learn and help you get ready to participate in innovation within real markets. You will learn how to use the tools, concepts, frameworks, and techniques that are necessary for building global business opportunities.

It didn’t take me long to realize that earning my certificate would only be the beginning of my business career." — Madeleine Eames, GCBA'15
