Interested in pursuing a Part-Time MBA or Part-Time MS in Finance/MBA?

Your Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is a great first step. Your next step could be a master’s degree program. A master’s degree can further deepen your knowledge, strengthen your resume, and demonstrate additional value to employers.

Once you have completed your Graduate Certificate in Business Administration through the Part-Time MBA Path and you have applied and been accepted accepted to the Part-Time MBA, then the credits you’ve earned during your certificate program will apply. Not only that, but your performance in the courses can make you eligible to waive the GMAT requirement.

Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and a “B” or better in each of your certificate classes, and we will waive the GRE/GMAT requirement as part of your Part-Time MBA or Part-Time MS in Finance/MBA application.

If accepted, your Graduate Certificate will help you yet again, as your credits may apply toward the MBA program requirements. Read more below.

International Cohort

Through successful completion of your Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, you will earn 12-15 credits that may be applied to eligible master’s programs, both within D’Amore-McKim School of Business or in the College of Professional Studies. Upon acceptance to one of the degree programs listed below, you may be able to apply the credits you have already earned toward the completion of your degree. Eligible master’s programs are offered online, as well as in Boston, Charlotte, Seattle, Toronto, and Silicon Valley. Location options vary by degree program.

International students complete online programs remotely from their home country. Northeastern’s vibrant and interactive online classrooms are a great way to continue your American business education from anywhere in the world.

For some master’s programs, credits are accepted from all students who have successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, regardless of curricular format. For other master’s programs, credits from only particular Graduate Certificate curricular formats are eligible. Below, you will find more detail about the requirements for each master’s program.

Part-Time MBA

The D’Amore-McKim Part-Time MBA was designed to help you develop the in-demand business skills needed to tackle challenges encountered in the global marketplace.

In this 60-credit curriculum, you may select one or more concentrations in the areas that build on your strengths and career aspirations. Concentrations are offered in Corporate Finance, Corporate Renewal, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Management, International Business, Investments, Marketing, Mutual Fund Management, Supply Chain Management, or Technological Entrepreneurship.

For current or aspiring financial professionals, the D’Amore-McKim Part-Time MS in Finance/MBA was designed for you. You will complete the Part-Time MBA core curriculum, four required MS in Finance courses, and elective coursework in the area of finance that interests you most: Corporate Finance or Investments.Learning from renowned financial experts and committed faculty, you will develop the in-demand skills needed to tackle today’s most challenging financial decisions with confidence.

Optional Practical Training (OPT)
